I am an avid talk radio listener. Yesterday one of the foremost agencies in Ft. Myers reported that their sales were up 67% compared to this time last year. I've have been preaching this for the last 6 months. Everyday when I look at Sunshine MLS I see 20-30 pendings and 15-20 solds. Not huge numbers BUT consisitent numbers. One thing will happen. Inventories will continue to go down and stabilize prices. This bodes well for sellers if they continue to be realistic in their pricing and negotiating.
Enough with the business. My husband and I are going to be in a fishing torunament today on the east coast of Flroida. I can't wait. This is a thank you for the board members of our local Coastal Conservation Association and the banquet that is held every March. We will be staying at a quanint property near Jensen Beach and fishing for snook, redfish and trout for2 days. I'll report later. This will be the first time I've been to the east coast since I was a kid living in Sanford, Flroida. Yes, fishing is my addiction.
